Results of Audience-Vote Reprise Show

The results are in! If the Mystery Theatre Unlimited does what its audience wants, the Starship Secondprize will launch again. The dinner theatre company, now in it's seventh year, asked its audience would prefer in a reprise performance. The overwhelming choice was the Star Trek parody staged originally in January 2000.

Here are the final results:

1% The Super Hero Show: The Menace of the Super Duper Party-Pooper

3% The Baseball Show: Take Me Out of the Ball Game

5% The Gangster Show: Speakeasy, Die Hard

6% The Game Show: Who Wants to Murder a Millionaire?

7% From the Casebook of Elliot Brick: The Case of the Ms. and the Show Biz Whiz

15% From the Casebook of Elliot Brick: Murder in the Mansion Museum

19% The Robin Hood Show: Damn! Damn! That Rotten Old Nottingham!

44% The "Star Trek" Show: Space Trek XII: The Rash of Budda Kahn

Mystery Theatre Unlimited's e-mail friends (Spam pals, if you prefer) voted for the show he or she most wanted to see us do again. The promotion, distributed via e-mail and to visitors to the web site, offered a choice of eight previously - but gently - used Mystery Theatre productions. The audience favorite was to be announced as the Mystery Theatre's Seventh Season opening production, to be staged this fall. To assure that the company would not reprise a very recent show, all productions offered were originally staged a year or longer ago.

August 28, September 14 and 25, October 12 and 23.
